My wife's response to my admission of interest in exploring my bi side was that she was happy for me to try, but didn't want to see it. I know it's healthy to have hobbies apart from your partner... but - this is something I'd rather be doing with my partner...

I retired from the traveling job and those frequent opportunities disappeared. Wish I could find a compatible sex buddy now. All the usual roadblocks are in the way, the main one being no place to play in a relaxed, no pressure, no worries, atmosphere. I think if I were active now she would not tolerate it and there would be no way of hiding it.

My wife has been well aware of my bisexuality for a long time, I believe "the curious" ends when you know you'd keep coming back given the chance. However my wife and I had both grown up with gay friends and knew I was a sexually adventurous person who could separate love from lust. Her only concern would be me cheating on her with anyone now, but I know she suspects there's been at least one man when I was cheating. Honesty or lack of disclosure really comes down to how much trust you have between each other and the rules of each individual relationship.

 

I am bisexual....I have been with both men and women throughout my life but have only been in long term relationships with women. Out of ten lengthy relationships eight of those women had no problem with my bisexuality or any of my other numerous kinks. The two who were not into it were REALLY not into it...to the point that we broke up immediately and they even told others about what I was in to. I love it when someone is accepting of their partners needs and desires...and love it even more when they are also turned on by them and willing to participate. Not everything is for everybody...I think most people understand that....but it is troubling when someone feels the need to shame someone else because of what they like. I have always tried to be open and honest with anyone I am with...after that it is up to them to decide if it's something they can be ok with....I have just been blessed to have been with some very remarkable women in my life.
