Hailey Bieber Advises New Mom Who Wants a Similar Haircut to 'Not Make Any Big Hair Decisions' Postpartum

Hailey Bieber is looking out for new moms who are seeking a drastic hair change!

On Thursday, April 3, TikTok user and new mom, Melody Miles, posted a video about wanting to get a haircut similar to the Rhode founder's. “Hailey Bieber makes me want to cut my hair,” she began, while feeding her infant a bottle of milk. “But I just know that if I cut it, it will not look like how she looks with short hair. I will look awful.”

Hailey, 28, responded in the comment section, “You would look stunning, but let’s hold hands and agree to not make any big hair decisions post partum! Personally giving myself at least a year!”

Following Hailey’s response to the content creator, fans praised the Rhode founder for giving real, relatable feedback. 

“The fact Hailey replied ):! She’s so right hahaha wait !!!!!” one user wrote. “You’ve got your advice from the Queen herself 😭💕🙏,” another commented. 

A third added, “She's always been a girl's girl.”

The mom of one most notably cut her hair in January 2023, debuting a head-turning, blunt bob. At the time, she shared a handful of Instagram selfies showing off her new look with the caption: “chop ✨.”

Since that time, Hailey’s hair has grown past her shoulders, and she notoriously rocks it styled in loose waves or a slick back bun. And while Hailey encouraged the TikTok user not to make any hair decisions postpartum, Hailey did make a change just one month after welcoming her son, Jack Blues Bieber, with husband Justin Bieber. 

“Lighter for Fall 💇‍♀️,” Hailey wrote of her new look in the caption, including the hair ut emoji.

In an interview published with Refinery29 in August 2021, Hailey revealed how her relationship with her hair has changed.

"When I don't have extensions in, I just like to keep my hair out of my face," she said. "My hair was really long as a teenager. Then I started modeling and I wanted to be cool and edgy, so I cut it really short — it never grew long after that. Now I'm trying to grow it out, but it's taken a long time. Though, I did see a big difference when I stopped coloring it — I don't dye it blonde anymore."
