Watch: Man Carrying Cobra On Bike Falls Prey To Fatal Snakebite
It is said the man caught a cobra and was on his way to release the serpent in the forest.

Snakebite is a serious issue so much so that the World Health Organization has added the problem to the list of neglected diseases. Now, the issue has tragically claimed the life of a man in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The shocking incident was recorded on a CCTV camera and the footage has begun circulating on social media platforms. The identity of the deceased is reported to be a man named Manish, who was supposedly a snake catcher. It is said he caught a cobra and was on his way to release the serpent in the forest when things went south. He was moving on a bike carrying the reptile with his bare hands.
In the surveillance footage, the man riding the bike parks the motorcycle on the corner of the road. The snake catcher tries to get out of the vehicle but falls to the ground immediately. The rider in the pink shirt appears distressed and moves away from the two-wheeler. At this point, the snake catcher gets back up still holding the reptile in his hand. Everything seems alright for a few seconds before the man falls backwards and crashes to the ground again. If the video is anything to go by, it seems the snake catcher asked the bike rider to stop the vehicle after being bitten by the venomous serpent.

What happens when a Cobra bites a human?
According to a report by CNN, the venomous species of serpent contain neurotoxins. The poison supposedly hampers the nerve impulses of a person leading to symptoms similar to paralysis. The body convulses until the heart and lungs fail to function because of the effect of the neurotic. It is important to note not all cobra bites are fatal, cases of snakebite can be treated with immediate medical supervision.
Besides neurotoxin, several poisonous snakes have hemotoxic in their poison. This supposedly attacks the blood vessels in the body causing bleeding, tissue damage, organ failure, and in some cases death.
